In the afternoon Mike Maguire talked about his personal story and experiences with PTSD resulting in his retirement from EMS and fire and how it affects our daily lives. The EMT candidates openly discussed how it has an effect on them as patrollers too and how they can support each other by recognizing signs and symptoms, and ways to get help.
