ATTITUDE/CHARACTER:
Ms. Jayda is a go-getter. She is kind and incredibly helpful. You can give her a task and she runs away with it, completing it without reminders. She is a caring, reliable hard worker.
CONCERN FOR OTHERS/COMPASSION/SERVANT HEART:
Ms. Jayda is very gentle and full of patience and energy for the kids. Every little one gravitates to her lap and sweet smile. Jayda role models the perfect balance of compassion and care with playfulness and silliness. The residents, kids, and teachers all love her calm demeanor and big heart.
YEARS OF SERVICE/DEDICATION:
Ms. Jayda started with us at the beginning of the school year as an assistant teacher and student intern. Her role was rather “undefined” when she started, but it has grown to be an integral part of our everyday success. Jayda has really leaned into her role, with growing responsibilities and tasks. She will be joining us as a lead teacher this summer after she graduates and we cannot wait to have her presence and teamwork even more often.
ENHANCES WORKPLACE AND LIVES OF OTHERS:
Ms. Jayda makes everyday run much smoother. There is no task too big or too small. She completes it without complaint and is a self starter. The kids adore her and look forward to seeing her: she is comforting and playful and always gets down on their level to talk with them and to be the perfect jungle gym!
EXHIBITS INITIATIVE/ENTHUSIASM BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY:
Jayda has rescued us more times than we can count with call ins, helping with breaks, completing inventory, closing nearly every day, helping teachers complete cutting and lesson plans….the list goes on! She is often left with a long list of duties and does them on her own without prompting. All of this is done with a quiet, humbleness and smile!
