As a partner, sister, aunt and mother to 5 young adult children, I feel blessed by human connection. As a curious explorer, I enjoy nature, yoga, dance, and listening to people's stories. My enthusiasm for coaching is shaped by two decades of parenting transformation, a natural curiosity in what propels each of us to reach our best, and my sincere delight in collaborating with extraordinary people. Our personal habits - emotional, nutritional, physical, cultural, spiritual - are the foundation of our happiness, fulfillment and potential to bloom.​ While healthy habits support our growth, others can get in the way. However, prioritizing the alignment of our habits with our goals and values isn't as easy as it seems. A coach can help you to clarify and cultivate your passions to enrich both your own life and our collective human fabric. I work to help people slow down and listen, to others and to themselves, in ways that honor a commitment to living with intention. As a vital human community, I believe we are called upon to connect and evolve TOGETHER. Qualities I honor in the coaching relationship are:

Do you save restaurant sauces? I do! Those exquisite sauces from take home containers can be used for new recipes 🙌🏻

For lunch today, I began with a bed of greens (kale, spinach, arugula), topped with brown rice, chickpeas, carrots, rainbow tomatoes, avocado, and fresh cracked black pepper. Then poured over a savory yellow curry sauce saved from dinner the night before to create a quick, fragrant and flavorful next-day meal!

“The presumption that pain, disappointment, or failure will cause harm is, in itself, harmful. These sorts of negative assumptions can lead to risk aversion.

Learning to be with our emotions with curiosity, courage, and compassion, discern what they are teaching us, and resist overidentifying with them can lead to emotional freedom. This paves the way for each of us to sit in the driver’s seat of ALL of our experiences, the ‘good’ and ‘bad,’ easy and hard.

Learning to be emotionally agile and normalize the ups and downs of living serves us personally and collectively.” (Chapter 4: Agility and the Attitude of Gratitude)

🇺🇸 𝔻𝕖𝕞𝕠𝕔𝕣𝕒𝕔𝕪 𝕚𝕤 𝕞𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕪

This past weekend, I walked through a loud, verbally hostile incumbent rally. I was chastised for wearing a mask, to which I replied, “I don’t wear a mask for me, I wear it for you.”

Life can feel overwhelming during the cultural upheaval of evolution. Though metamorphosis is necessary for personal and collective progress, the attendant discomfort is often something we avoid or rail against.

Some may insult, blame, chastise, and hurt. Some may dwell in all-or-nothing self-talk or judgment. Some may sink into despair.

I struggle too. But I want to remind all of us that we have options.

PAUSE & BREATHE: Stop and take a deep breath. This will help you center and minimize reactive energy.

ASK yourself: What will my future self think about HOW I SHOWED UP? What will my children, and children’s children, think?

CONSIDER your options: What is the most skillful, helpful response aligned with my most important values?

WATCH out for: confirmation bias, negativity bias, prejudgment, overattachment to outcome.

ACT: When you choose human BEING ✨ before human doing, your chances of values-aligned actions are better.
