The USA Sled Hockey Team brings home the gold, making it THREE hockey gold medals for Team USA at these Olympics! What an incredible moment for American hockey. 💪🏒

From the women’s team, to the men’s team, and now sled hockey — the dominance of USA Hockey on the world stage is something special to watch.

🏒 AHA Board Elections Begin This Week! 🏒

Board Elections will begin Friday, March 13 and run through midnight on Tuesday, March 17.

This year we have 5 candidates running for 4 open board seats, and over the past few days we’ve been highlighting each of them so our members can get to know the individuals willing to volunteer their time to help lead AHA.

Today we are featuring our final three candidates:

🔹 Angela Kortman
Angela is a dedicated hockey parent who believes strongly in creating an inclusive environment for all players while also promoting open and honest communication throughout all aspects of AHA.

🔹 Jenny Smith
Jenny currently helps run the Heather Rensberry Memorial Fund and is interested in serving AHA as the new Girls Hockey Coordinator if elected. She is passionate about supporting and growing opportunities for girls in our hockey community.

🔹 Justin Madsen
Justin is a hockey parent and local business owner who believes he can bring his business experience and organizational skills to the board to help things run more smoothly and efficiently.

We appreciate both Phil and Scott for their continued dedication to the Alpena Hockey Association and the time they invest in supporting our players and families.
