Thinking outside the box on Monday morning.

☀️ There's an incredible amount of bad socials about the epidural floating around.
☀️ Medicine is necessary where it's necessary - that's not "bad or good" it just IS.
☀️ Feeling guilty for wanting, needing, or getting an epidural should not be part of mothering your new baby. Society has no business dictating what YOU need to get you through labor. THEY aren't pushing out your baby.
☀️ There can be a lot of pressure at the hospital to get one for those who do NOT want one - this should be EQUALLY respected! Create a code word with your nurse in case you change your mind, and give them permission to stop asking!
☀️GET. THE. DOULA. Seriously. A good doula is like a great pilot, less chance of the plane going down in fiery flames and more chance of landing safely.

☀️ Get proprietary hospital preparation program so you can build a secure, safe, and respected birth plan and learn how to communicate well with busy or overwhelmed staff.
