Biography:
I have pursued my massage therapy career through Body Wisdom Massage Therapy School and additional specialized training for the last 9 years. My goal in Massage Therapy is to use various therapeutic techniques to nurture your good health and recovery with a Tranquil Touch. Muscle Release Technique:
Is a unique injury therapy that combines compression, extension, movement and breath to give a tool of relief from pain in my cases in one treatment. With Muscle Release Technique-scar tissue is broken up, the muscle is lengthened, muscle memory is restored and relief from pain often starts immediately. Muscle Release Technique is pressure and stretch. This incorporates Aaron Mattes and the Wharton's method of stretching. Chair Massage:
Utilizes Swedish massage to relieve tension. Through beginning at a slower pace, the work moves a little faster as the practitioner proceeds. Lymphatic Massage:
"The Lymphatic system is the body's natural method of cleansing and detoxification. Its fluids bath nearly every cell, removing waste and debris, nourishing and regenerating our cells and immune response." Diane Lonsdale
Rehabilitation Massage:
Uses the therapeutic techniques, such as Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Manual Therapy and Hydrotherapy to relieve headaches and upper body pain. Spa Massage:
Uses Paraffin, Salt scrub, etc. in a HYDROTHERAPY treatment to improve blood flow and relieve pain. Deep Tissue:
Works the deeper layers of muscle tissue to soften and release any "knots" without causing excessive pain and allowing for effective and efficient healing. Craniosacral Therapy:
Is regarded as a gentle, noninvasive type of bodywork. The craniosacral system consists of the membranes and fluid that surround and support the brain and the spinal cord. The craniosacral system extends from the bones of the head down to the base of the spine.
