How I changed my thought Patterns: 💪
You may not know it.. or maybe you do but the way you feel emotionally has a lot to do with your thought patterns.
As a human, we are only capable of thinking a certain amount of thoughts within a certain amount of time. A high percentage of those thoughts are the same repeted thoughts as before.
We create these patterns by allowing negative thoughts to cross through our minds repeatedly without being aware or correcting/interrupting the pattern so the pattern continues.
You must become aware of your thoughts and correct them. Look around you for things to be grateful for and when you realize you're on a negative path of thoughts, force a positive in, or two.. or three. There are plenty of positive things to look to but you have to drop the negative and prideful attitude. Sometimes you have to allow yourself to feel embarrassed to start fresh.
Bonus points if you can force a smile for 5 minutes.
You'll be surprised at how smiling effects your brain. 🧠
Forcing a smile for longer periods of time even when you don't feel like smiling can release chemicals in our brain that produce happiness which can automatically give you positive thoughts. ✨️
