“Meet Lady! She's a Boxer mix, who is 2 years old (DOB: 5/29/23). She came to our shelter a few months ago, and now needs a home of her very own. She has a short coat that is mostly white, with some light brown areas. Lady is an active girl, who is very sweet. She is good around other dogs. We hope you will come meet Lady at Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Coulter. Our shelter is open Tues.-Sat. from 12 to 5 p.m. 806-622-0555.”

Happy Friday! It’s time to pick the adoptable pet of the week!

“Moon is a gray female kitty about 2 months of age. Her fluffy coast is almost all gray, with a white spot on her chin. She has dark eyes and long white whiskers. Moon is a sweet, adorable, friendly kitten that likes to be held and snuggled. She and her sibs were born to a stray cat, but rescued, tamed and now looking for their own forever indoor homes. The litter includes Joel, Amos, Micah, Luna and Moon. They are all playful with lots of kitten energy and will benefit from a variety of toys and interactive play. Kitten food is required until one year of age for healthy development. Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Coulter. 806-622-0555.”

6 lbs

There are a million things to say about Qtip. She has a BIG personality. She knows what she wants and is going to get it no matter what. Determined, strong willed, crazy athletic, and sweetest baby you will ever meet. Wants to cuddle whenever possible...squirrel🐿️Then she’s off😀. Will take a sip of your Coke Zero or take a bite of your pizza at any opportunity. She is a full time clown 🤡. Does well on her potty training ...depends if she is busy playing or not, squirrel 🐿️, what a toddler😀. Has never met a dog or person that wasn't a good playmate. Food is her favorite, so further training should be a breeze, squirrel 🐿️! School age kids best , even though she’s tiny she’s ready to rumble😀🤼.
This girl has brought a lot of fun and love to her foster home, but it’s time to let her new family enjoy this adorable girl❤️.

Happy first Friday of October! It is time to feature the Adoptable pet of the week. This week is a bonded pair of ChiWeenies.

“Layla and Mila are sisters. They are 6 1/2 years old, date of birth is 4/6/2019). Chihuahua/Dachshund mix (Chiweenies). Layla is white with brown/brindle spots and Mila is brown with black. They are indoor pets,, housebroken and crate trained. They are pretty quiet little girls, once they get to know you. They need to be adopted together, and would be best in a quiet home with adults. They neither one like loud noises. These girls reaaly need a home out of the shelter. We hope you will consider adopting them. Amarillo SPCA, 11901 S. Coulter. “Wolfbane is a male, declawed tabby around 3-4 years old. He has a handsome soft gray coat with light gray ‘marbling’ throughout. Light gray highlights his mouth and eyes. Wolfbane has a fabulous set of long white whiskers. This sweet fellow is very affectionate and gentle.
