🚨 STOP SCROLLING 🚨
🌟Discover the secret of True Emotional Freedom and Physical Wellness!
As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, take time to reflect on what your mental health looks like. And remember you are not alone.
**BUT 🛑 WAIT**
Before you do that, I want to share something deeply personal with you in the hopes that it might inspire your own journey toward healing and wholeness. ❤️
For many years, I suffered from deep depression, PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, and substance abuse. I carried deep hurts and traumas that I didn't fully understand. These weren't just memories—they were parts of myself that felt broken off, living separately, and getting triggered in ways that made me react from a place of old pain. Trauma, as I've learned, is anything you went through where you felt completely alone.
Think about that for a moment! ANYTHING you went through where you felt completely alone. 🤯That is a lot of trauma each of us holds, no matter how little it may seem to your mind.
I found a path to healing through a process called heart healing. ❤️🩹This wasn't just about thinking differently, repeating positive affirmations, or "trying" to just be better. It was about going within, to those fragmented parts of myself and inviting them back into wholeness. I was guided to build loving relationships with those parts so I could bring them home where they belonged.
But going deep within sounds scary, right?🫣 Like, what the heck am I going to find that I don't want to? I thought so too, until I started and realized these were little scared parts of me just wanting to get out of the hurt they were stuck in. I had to stop and think, if I saw a 6-year-old in the middle of the street crying and scared, would I just drive by and leave her standing there? ABSOLUTELY NOT!! I did not have to revisit my past. All I had to do was love those parts of myself as Jesus and I brought them home. 💕
This journey was transformative. Instead of constantly trying to manage the chaos I couldn’t even see, or seeking the next best thing to make myself FEEL whole, I found a profound sense of peace and integration.
I know looking within can be scary. It can feel overwhelming to face the parts of ourselves that hold so much pain, but I want to encourage you to take that brave step. Emotions and trauma stored in the body can create not just emotional distress but physical sickness as well. Healing these wounds is essential for true health and well-being.
This experience is why I’m so passionate about my work in massage therapy. I believe that just as emotional trauma impacts our mental health, it also affects our physical health. My goal is to support others on their healing journeys, helping them release stored trauma and find true peace and wholeness. 🫶
Make your healing a priority. You deserve to feel whole and free, not just coping with life, but thriving in it. Embrace the journey of reconnecting with all parts of yourself. The transformation that comes from true emotional and physical freedom is worth every step!
If you’re ready to start this journey, I’m here to support you.
