It was there I learned how serious obesity and lifestyle were the causes of sickness. While battling with childhood obesity for years, I vowed to learn
as much as possible to change my lifestyle. I continued to pursue Nursing and later finished with a degree in Applied Science from Dallas Community College my focus was Business Health Administration. After 17 years of service in the healthcare field, I found myself tired and 200 pounds overweight. After trying so many diets and starving myself I still had no progress. I spoke with my doctor, and she prescribed a nutritionist. After weeks of adding healthy changes to my diet I asked if I could be approved for the gastric sleeve. The Bariatric doctor advised me to lose 80 lbs before I could be approved, and my journey began in 2009. I lost 80lbs in 6 months and had learned that fruits and vegetables and cardio were my game changer. I had begun juicing and intermittent fasting and dropped 150 lbs within 1
year. I have experienced what an unbalanced diet and lifestyle can bring. My desire is to help others Rebuild balance through
simple changes and support.
