Today we celebrate the moms, grandmothers, caregivers, bonus moms, and women who love others with their whole hearts — especially those quietly caring for aging parents, spouses, and loved ones every single day.

Caregiving is one of the most selfless forms of love, and we see you.

To the women carrying medication lists, appointments, late-night worries, and endless responsibilities while still showing up with compassion… thank you.

We hope today brings you moments of peace, appreciation, and rest. You deserve it.

A reminder of what we do at The Meemaw & Peepaw Project 💜

When dementia impacts a family, the little things can suddenly become overwhelming. That’s why we created programs designed to bring comfort, support, and dignity to caregivers and their loved ones.

✨ Our Comfort Closet provides emergency supplies and comfort items for families in need.

✨ Angel Arms help provide safety and peace of mind for those living with dementia.

✨ Caregiver Boxes are filled with encouragement, practical items, and reminders that caregivers are not alone.

Take a short walk — outside, through a store, or even around your home — and try to notice:

👀 5 things you can see
👂 4 things you can hear
✋ 3 things you can feel
👃 2 things you can smell
😊 1 thing that brings you joy

This simple activity helps encourage mindfulness, memory, focus, and sensory engagement — all important for brain health! 🌻

Bonus points if you do it with a loved one and talk about what you noticed together.

Some moments just hit a little deeper 💜📦

This week, our Caregiver Joy Boxes made their way to Virginia Beach, VA and Johnstown, PA. What started as a mission close to home is now reaching hearts in places we may never physically go—but that doesn’t make the impact any less meaningful.

While our roots and primary focus will always be in the Texas Panhandle, we are incredibly grateful for every opportunity to remind caregivers—no matter where they are—that they are seen, valued, and never alone. Caregiving can feel isolating… and if a simple box can bring even a moment of comfort, encouragement, or a smile, then it’s worth it every single time 💛
