Last week, Adrian Rivers led a powerful session titled “What Makes a Leader?”

Our youth learned that leadership isn’t about popularity or being in charge — it’s about choices and character.

They unpacked three core traits:
✔️ Responsibility
✔️ Respect
✔️ Courage

Through real-life scenarios and honest conversations, students were challenged to think differently about how they show up every day.

✨ Day One Complete — And It Was Powerful! ✨

Today marked our first day partnering with the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program (21st CCLC) After-School Program, and what an incredible start it was!

Our Executive Director and Co-Founder, Sennica Harris, kicked things off with a dynamic leadership session that set the tone for what’s ahead. The moments of connection, encouragement, and engagement with our youth were truly priceless.

We are so excited about the impactful work we get to do in Ben Hill County — and this is only the beginning!

Today, Holistically Anchored Inc. had the honor of visiting Sumter County Head Start / Early Head Start to deliver Christmas gift bags to preschool students — each one thoughtfully filled with items centered on education, health, and wellness. 🎄📚💙

These gifts were designed to support young learners beyond the classroom, encouraging healthy habits, learning at home, and overall well-being during the holiday season. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces reminded us how impactful simple, intentional care can be.

A heartfelt thank you to the Head Start and Early Head Start staff for the incredible work you do every day to nurture, educate, and advocate for our youngest learners. Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

Moments like this are why Holistically Anchored exists — to meet families where they are and provide support that strengthens mind, body, and spirit. And it’s also why community support matters.

Today, we are officially launching our Anchored in Hope: Building Resilience in Rural Georgia campaign.

Children, families, and communities across Rural Georgia are facing growing mental-health challenges, food insecurity, and limited access to care. Holistically Anchored Inc. exists to meet those needs with compassion, strategy, and action.

Over the next several weeks, we’ll be sharing real stories and real impact — and we’ll be inviting our community to help us expand this work in 2026.
