For Thee By Me Basketry

For Thee By Me Basketry Specializing in hand-made birch bark and rattan baskets that are contemporary and functional I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I do!

In 1992, I stumbled upon a basket-weaving class that literally changed my life. Since then, I’ve been on a journey practicing and teaching this ancient craft —and loving every minute of it! From harvesting birch bark to learning the historic and cultural uses of different types of baskets, each basket I make is a unique creation that is both functional and contemporary. Just as no two trees are alike, each of my baskets, whether made from birch bark or rattan, has its own individual character.
