We were humbled this holiday season to gather in memory of those we honored during 2022 at our annual Christmas Memorial Gatherings in Ames and Boone in December.

The events offered our team an opportunity to reconnect with those we served, while offering families a chance to celebrate the life of their loved one during the holiday season.

We thank all who placed their trust in us during 2022. We look forward to continuing to serve this community with the same dignity and integrity we always have.

In December, we are hosting a special program to honor those who have passed while providing the families we have served in the last 12 months a custom glass ornament to memorialize their loved ones.

Our Christmas Memorial Gathering will be held:

December 6
Adams Funeral Home
502 Douglas Avenue, Ames

December 7
Soderstrum Funeral Home
618 Lafayette Avenue, Story City

We will host fellowship and refreshments from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. and then a short memorial service at 6:30 p.m. While the ornaments are only provided to those we have served, we welcome anyone who has lost a loved in the past year to join us.

RSVP is required by calling (515) 232-5121. We value the relationships we have developed with the families we have been blessed to serve and look forward to reconnecting.

During November, it is humbling to reflect on the role we are so blessed to play in honoring the memories of Story County's veterans.

We offer our thoughts and prayers to the families of those who have passed this year, while saluting all veterans and current military for their limitless contributions to the greatest nation on earth.
