C/C is focused on growing the next generation of beef producers through education and advocacy.

Our club is for students to have the opportunity to work with the Iowa Cattle Industry in the promotion of Beef and Consumer education. Some of our club activities include trips to feed mills, embryo transfer facilities, genetics corporations, family farm cow/calf operations, etc.

We wrapped up an amazing Fall Industry Tour before Thanksgiving, traveling through Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois! From Angus operations to stockyards, feedlots, and research farms, our members gained valuable insights while learning, connecting, and exploring every step of the way.

Proud of this group and grateful to all who hosted us!

🐄 Internship Spotlight: Caleb Frostestad 🐄

This summer, Caleb Frostestad, an Agricultural Studies student here at Iowa State University, spent his internship as a Production Intern at Grand View Beef in Clarion, Iowa. From daily herd management and grazing rotation to hay production and shipping beef and tallow products nationwide, Caleb got a hands-on look at every aspect of a direct-to-consumer beef operation.

His favorite part? Branding day! He even learned how to rope during his time on the farm.

If you're passionate about raising high-quality beef or curious about running a successful farm-to-table business, Grand View Beef is the place to be for an unforgettable summer experience! 🌟
