After an initial consultation to build your wellness program, an agreed plan of action will be implemented with your essential input to meet your goals. This wellness service can give you as much time as you need while maintaining the highest level of education and care!

💖Join us as we have a conversation about Self-Love and Self-Care and learn some ways we can incorporate these vital practices into our daily lives. In this interactive session we will talk about what these phrases mean, what stands in the way, and the benefits of a more loving attitude toward ourselves.

We'll also have some wonderful self-love and self-care experiences!

Massage therapist and lymphedema specialist, My Soul & Body Massage Therapy, Allison Flanagan, LMT, CLT, will demonstrate some soothing lymphatic massage techniques we can perform on ourselves for relief of stress and to keep our lymphatic system in tip-top shape.

Janice Anderson, a Holistic Nurse and hypnotherapist, (as well as NBCR board member and founder of InsideOut Wellness and Thermography Center LLC, http://www.insideoutthermography.com/ ) will lead us in a beautiful Self-Love guided meditation!

Our next Speaker Series, "The Healing Power of Nature" is one week from today, Monday, September 16th at 7:00 p.m. FREE on Zoom. Did you register yet?

A growing body of international research demonstrates the positive impacts of nature on physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being. This presentation will provide an overview of research on nature’s healing power.

We'll discuss the answers to these questions and so much more.

Do evergreens emit a healing balm that correlates with improved immune function?

Do communities with higher proportions of gardens and parks have a reduced risk of mortality?

Do surgical patients with an outdoor view recover faster than those without?

Do pleasant nature vistas decrease heart rates and trigger calming changes in the brain?

Spoiler alert...the answer is yes to all!

We will also cover the origins of the sensory-based, mindful forest walking pioneered and practiced in Japan as Shin-rin Yoku, or "forest bathing" (which will be offered at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge on Sunday, September 22nd, and Sunday, October 6th).
