Four Red Flags Your Nutritiionist Doesn't Know What They're Doing:

Our society has gotten accustomed to instant gratification, if we don't see results immediately we get discouraged and are quick to move on to something new. Our life is a journey, taking small intentional steps to achieve lifestyle changes will lead to long term success and better health. When addressing health issues, losing weight, lowering cholesterol, lowering blood pressure, improving nutrition, or starting an exercise regimen start with baby steps. Make SMART goals that will move you closer to your goal. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day! So today ask yourself, "What is the vision of my healthiest best self?". Maybe its wanting to begin exercising 2 days per week, what is one small step you can take to get moving? It could be as simple as exploring things you enjoy doing to achieve your goal. Not everyone is a gym person, so you may choose, walking for 20 minutes on Monday and Wednesday or perhaps you like swimming, golfing, playing tennis or pickleball, yoga, whatever movement you enjoy. The next question is, "how do I need to prepare to begin?". Maybe its buying new sneakers, exercise clothes, or joining a yoga class. Question three is, "when will I buy the new sneakers, exercise clothes or signing up for a class?". Do you foresee any obstacles preventing you from doing so?". On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you will take the first step?". If you say an 8,9,or 10, its time to commit and just do it. Small steps, commitment and discipline will see you through. You can do hard things, don't be afraid, be bold and take control.
