Yes, I know it is the new year and there is this push to move forward with fresh ideas and a clean slate and all that…. But I can’t (and don’t want to) just fake it when I am not feeling it.

Can you relate?

I have been sitting quietly for awhile now. I haven’t felt particularly motivated about creating new workshops, content, or my new website.

I pay attention to energy and when and where it guides me. And the energy as of late has been focused more around home, self-care, healing, cooking good food, family, friends, oh and fun!

The real growth in all of this is that I am giving myself permission to do this without guilt, allowing myself to just BE.

I don’t mean to focus this writing on me. I am telling you this because perhaps you feel this way too, and you can feel comfort to know that you are not alone.

What has really helped me (and I hope you) during this time is a strong “knowing” that my job for the past few months has been to build my capacity to hold the higher frequency of energy that is here for all of us, and to fully embody this higher vibration.

If you would like to join me in consciously grounding your energy, here are a few suggestions:

💚take an Epsom salt bath.
💚create a foot soak with sage.
💚walk outside in the grass or sand barefoot (weather permitting :)
💚set up a crystal grid using these 3 great crystals and affirmation:

HEMATITE – Hematite is a stone that is most commonly used to ground or stabilize and for protection. In spiritual work, hematite is an excellent stone to help keep you connected to the Earth plane, so that your spiritual learning can be done safely and be brought back to daily life more easily.

BLACK TOURMALINE – It grounds energy and increases physical vitality, dispersing tension and stress and clearing negative thoughts.

SMOKEY QUARTZ –Smokey Quartz is one of the most efficient grounding and anchoring stones. It helps the mind move between alpha and beta states, clearing and raising your vibration during meditation.

Affirmation: I ground the energies of the Light and move through life with effortless ease.

I thought it would be a good idea to have an end of the year wrap up.
To pause and assess where we were at the beginning of the year and where we landed now in December.

When I looked back to January, the year started with 4 Fire, a card signifying completion.

Interestingly, when I pulled a card for this month of December, I pulled another Fire Card, this time speaking of beginnings.
