It can be so easy to get caught up in the negativity and stress that is in life. Don't let it be the FOCUS, though. Every day....there is SOMETHING to be grateful for. Running water. Clean clothes. Food to eat. A special person in your life. A rainbow....the view of the mountains that surround you....a sunrise or sunset. Maybe that it's you were able to just get up today. There can be hard days. Look for the little positives that are around you and COUNT those blessings!

“Dallin...he is absolutely amazing. So kind and respectful. He has done wonderfully with his participant and I honestly don't know what we would have done without him. He has worked many hours with his participant to make sure he has consistency. He goes above and beyond. Definitely a one in a million kind of guy!”

Teya has been with us for two years!

Teya is the definition of organized and efficient—she manages the busy schedules of three gals with such structure and care, making sure everything runs smoothly. She’s deeply invested in getting to know each participant as an individual, taking the time to understand their personalities, strengths, and coping skills. She even created individual binders for each girl, giving staff an invaluable resource to better support them—a true example of thoughtfulness and dedication.

“Teya is super organized and structured. To better help her co-workers with her knowledge of each participant, she learns about each one’s diagnoses–and finds all the information she can and learns about it. She looks into coping skills for when participants have difficult moments. She’s always asking questions for more information so that she can share it–in the cutest binders she’s personalized for each girl in her care. This is amazing, it’s a wonderful personable way for each of those participants to feel seen and heard on a personal level. Teya is SUPER patient and always loves to do cute hair styles on the girls! Teya is SO busy with 3 girls to run to appointments, art classes, dance, the grocery store, activities, and more. But that doesn’t slow her down–she’s very dedicated to being the very best for her participants!”

Always eager to grow, Teya constantly asks questions and seeks out new knowledge to provide the highest level of care. She’s not only incredibly skilled, but also super sweet, kind, and full of heart. Her talent, compassion, and genuine love for caregiving shine through in everything she does, touching lives every single day.

“Teya is so kind, sweet and just works wonders with anyone she’s with! Her attention to detail and wanting to be more knowledgeable about the participants and the work she does shows just how much she cares and how much HEART she puts into every shift. We are so lucky to have her!”

Maria is the kind of person who truly shines in everything she does. She’s super sweet, incredibly caring, and has such a special way of connecting with her participant—always making sure her needs are met and helping her grow toward more independence. Whether she’s at her regular house or filling in somewhere new, Maria works beautifully with any participant and brings warmth, patience, and skill wherever she goes.

“Maria is calm, patient, a fantastic problem-solver and helps with coming up with compromises. Not only does she step up–she goes above and beyond! She’s always got a smile on her face. She is a busy gal, doing her participants hair for her, taking her out and about to activities. She is so kind when she’s prompting her participant–encouraging her to do and be better, to learn and grow. When behaviors arise–Maria is always so calm and collected. She stays very relaxed and helps her participant work through difficult situations and feelings. Maria is really amazing under pressure!”

On top of that, she’s a busy mom who somehow still gives 110% at work, going above and beyond every single day. Even under pressure, Maria stays calm, collected, and focused on what matters most—giving her participant the best possible care and support. We are so lucky to have her on our team, and today we celebrate not only her special day, but also the dedication and heart she’s brought to her role since day one.

“Maria has worked so many different places and no matter where she goes, participants always like her and know and trust in her care. She’s a busy mama, but she helps out anytime she can while juggling home and work. She’s just one of those people that we can send anywhere, and she easily adapts to every situation and participant to give them personalized care.”
