This new moon is called a "Black Moon", because the moon's orbit is slightly tilted relative to Earth's orbit around the sun, it doesn't block out the sun on every orbit, hence why not every new moon results in a solar eclipse. Every so often a new moon is known as a "Black Moon". This is a rare occurrence and we won't experience another one until December 30, 2024. So get out your telescopes.

Holy camole thank goodness for the FB police. I about got shut down. I'm so thankful they are there to report us people who sometimes don't realize a part of a post may be offensive. I almost lost my page and group. Thankful for the report. I'm so sorry if I offended anyone with one of the T-shirt Designs as it was not intentional, was pure ignorance and i simply did not not notice. 🤦‍♀️⚠️
