My beloved, patient, amazing clients whom I miss dearly,
After much confusion because of the Governor’s completely unclear direction, many industries have been scrambling to determine whether or not they can open and continue to serve the client base. It has been made clear that massage therapy is still restricted at this time so I continue to eagerly await the day when I can begin to book sessions again. I know many of you rely on massage therapy for chronic pain relief and management of a wide array of life altering health conditions and I am truly saddened to not be able to support your health through the bodywork and massage modalities you’ve come to rely on to maintain health and balance.
Please know that I miss you and eagerly look ahead to better days; stay well, stay positive and stay informed as there is a great deal happening that can and will alter our lives in negative ways if we are not vigilant and proactive.

Today, Governor Cuomo just made it clear on this slide that no massage therapy in Phase 2. Please notice the 2nd and the last two bullets. They are requiring the Barbers and Hair Stylists to get tested every two weeks and keep a customer log in the event if a worker tests positive. Massage Therapy still has not been assigned a Phase as NAICS 621399. NYSSMMT will continue to pursue clarification.
