Here are the 5 phases of commitment, to help you get clear on what really belongs in that blank.
Empty Commitment > You heard somewhere that it’s bad to eat after 8pm so you decide you should stop eating after 8pm. But, you don’t have any reason for doing it other than you “heard it’s bad”. You don’t have any connection to it so by Friday night movie night you are eating 🍿 at 10pm 🤷🏼♀️
Half Commitment > Monday rolls around and you decide to not eat after 8pm again, give it another try but you still aren’t 💯 sure about it, you feel flaky and wonder why you can’t just do it. (Because it’s not resonating with your body, that’s why 😎)
Commitment > The acceptance phase, this is good for me, things begin to flow. You feel aligned with your decision, but now need more action steps to get you there. This is where setting your intentions can help make the steps more clear. You are ready to go all in with this decision. 👌🏽
Total Commitment > Aligned, Connected and have clarity on action steps. And you feel 💯 willing. You can see, feel and taste the end result of your follow-through ...you think this is it, but wait 🤔why isn’t it happening right now? (Ahh impatience 🙄)
Full Commitment > The bond that connects it all is willingness and trust. The next step is the right one. It’s not going to be perfect and it may take some time. You surrender and let yourself be apart of the process, showing up on good days and bad. As you are, you commit to growth not focused on how it looks but on how it feels. And it feels damn good, doesn’t it?
