I often get asked what vitamins you can take to help with your healthy skin journey
💊
I am not a doctor, so please check with your medical provider before going off and buying any supplements. I can only share my professional advice on what specific vitamins do for the skin. I am a firm believer that most of my nutrients should be coming internally through food, or topically through my skin care. My vitamins are just insurance to fill in any gaps
💊
Remember ACE rhymes with FACE. Vitamins A, C & E are my absolute favorite vitamins to have in my skin care. Vitamin A is represented in the retinols or alternatives you use to help promote healthy cell turnover and reduces pretty much everything from acne to hyperpigmentation and wrinkles. Vitamin C promotes collagen production (plump juicy skin) and also brightens and evens skin tone and discoloration. Vitamin E helps protect against oxidative stress which causes premature aging, soothes, heals and nourishing the protective barrier.
💊
Vitamin B! Biotin is one of the most popular skin ingredients which is actually B7. Biotin's translation comes from the Greek word "life" because of its contribution to healthy living cells, including but not limited to skin cells. Vitamin B skin benefits don't stop at Biotin. Many B vitamins are used in skin care. Niacin treats a variety of skin conditions such as dermatitis, acne, rosacea, eczema, dry, skin, and hyperpigmentation. Pantothenic Acid is also commonly used in skin care as a humectant that provides moisture to the skin

You guys know I am an ingredient ju**ie and could literally go on and on about different vitamins and minerals but I'll stop here. Remember, none of these ingredients matter if you're not wearing SPF and if you're not taking care of your health.
