Actionable Points to consider
1) Know your risk - including family hx
2) Seek early imaging - request a transvaginal ultrasound scan if you experience persistent sx
3) Monitor treatment respones - if your current tx has not impacted your quality of life for the better advocate for referral to specialist gynecology
4) Consider advanced imaging - pelvic MRI can thoroughly assess the extent of endometriosis

Kendra Higgins, DPT prioritizes evidence based therapeutic intervention to treat a vast array of pathology through the lens of a biopsychosocial approach. This approach acknowledges the complex interactions between an individual’s biology, psychology, and socio-environmental setting, and allows her to develop a unique and dynamic personalized plan of care for every patient. Kendra also utilizes Pain Neuroscience Education (PNE), a novel evidence-based approach to treating pain that educates the patient on how pain is produced by the body. She integrates PNE into physical therapy techniques including mindfulness training, breath-work, graded exposure, pacing, mobility, endurance, and strengthening exercises to reduce neuropathic and chronic pain while optimizing movement and functional abilities.

Try this At-Home Hip Hinge (aka Deadlift Prep) to keep your back strong and safe:

Home Hip Hinge Exercise
✅ Stand with feet shoulder-width apart
✅ Hold a broomstick, backpack, or weight close to your body
✅ Hinge at your hips, keeping your back flat
✅ Lower until you feel a stretch in your hamstrings, then return to standing
🌀 Aim for 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions a few times per week.

Why? This mimics the movement of bending to pick berries—without putting your back at risk!

Strong glutes and hamstrings = safer picking + better posture in the berry patches.

With more than 30 years combined experience, Progressive health care providers develop integrated and personalized programs for each patient.
