Pregnancy + Postpartum Strength is a 6-week, PT-led class for pregnant moms through 2 years postpartum. Led by pelvic floor specialist Keanna Gross, PT, DPT, the class focuses on core connection, pelvic floor strength, and safe movement that supports your body through every stage of motherhood.

Strong through motherhood looks different for everyone and Progressive Physical Therapy is here for all of it!

That is what I told Lorri on her first day of physical therapy. At the time, she couldn't lift any weight due to a recent surgery. Today she was able to deadlift 150 #!! She is feeling more confident around the house and is even hitting the gym EVERY DAY! Congratulations Lorri!!

Start simple with baby lying on the floor next to you during exercises such as pelvic tilts, bridges, and clamshells.

Advance to holding baby close to your chest for exercises like lunges and squats.

Your body has been through so much, and even just a few minutes of movement a day can help you feel stronger and more energized.

With more than 30 years combined experience, Progressive health care providers develop integrated and personalized programs for each patient. We were the first physical therapy clinic to utilize Active Release Therapy and have the most experienced Active Release Therapist in Anchorage. Progressive Physical Therapy focuses on a broad range of advanced physical therapy and rehabilitation techniques including Pilates, TRX, movement therapy and posture exercises, to get patients on the road to recovery.
