Today, we made history at Andalusia Health. 💜

But more importantly, we took a moment to honor those who have given everything for our country.

Andalusia Health has officially been designated as the first Purple Heart Hospital in Alabama.

We were deeply honored to stand alongside our veterans, including Purple Heart recipients, as well as community leaders and speakers who joined us for this meaningful occasion.

There are no words that can fully express the gratitude we feel.

To our veterans: your courage, your sacrifice, and your service are the reason we are able to stand here today. Because of you, we have freedom. Because of you, we have community. Because of you, we have the opportunity to care for others.

This designation is more than a milestone, it is a promise.

A promise that you will always be seen.
A promise that you will always be honored.
A promise that you will always have a place here.

At Andalusia Health, caring for our veterans isn’t just part of what we do, it’s part of who we are.

Managing diabetes doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Join us tomorrow for a free educational class where you’ll learn practical tips to help you stay healthy and confident in managing your blood sugar.

Our dietitian Kelli Worley-Hendren will walk through advanced carbohydrate counting, an important skill for maintaining balanced glucose levels and improving daily health.
