We all need to feel tiny against nature's backdrop to remember what truly matters.

Protect it, before all we have are videos and images to remember what once was.

✨ I have such gratitude for everyone who came to the Deaf Yoga Retreat last week. It has been truly a transformative experience for everyone involved.

💗 We laughed, we cried, we got caught in the rain, experienced Reiki, ate around a communal table, opened up more than we could ever have imagined, and most importantly, we grew. This experience will stick with us forever.

📿 With this retreat in the books, I'm looking ahead to future possible retreats to plan. There will be day retreats up to week-long experiences. Do you want to come to a retreat? Let me know! The feedback I get will help me decide what to plan next for you all 🥰

✨❤️🌹

☺️ Yes! I’m currently growing a little new life in my belly and we are so excited to get to tell you all- even though our kitty is much more interested in whatever is blowing by off-screen in this pic 😹

🗓 We will be expecting the little person “earth-side” mid-August.. on our wedding anniversary! I don’t know how much closer we can get to a sign that it’s meant to be 🥰

🌺 What I’m also excited for is a chance for some of you to meet me and the little person at the Deaf Yoga Retreat! I still have a few spots left open, and even though I will be huge (HUGE), I’m looking forward to sharing the gift of yoga with you all! So if you’re worried the retreat is postponed, it is not! Grab your spot at yogawb.com (link in bio).

😍 Thank you for your continuing support as we all navigated these past few years together. I truly appreciate you all ❤️✨

In the face of so much change, fear, and information we get daily, we start to lose trust in ourselves and the world around us. Our intuition can fade and our heart space can grow smaller. It’s harder to connect with others and harder to connect with ourselves.

Rebuild your self-trust and expand your heart again in this four-day Deaf yoga retreat. While immersed in the beautiful Catskill Mountains, you will discover how nature can help you reconnect with yourself with short hikes, forest bathing, and stunning lake swims.

Build your self-confidence with daily yoga classes and meditations. Learn how to listen to your intuition, trust yourself, and expand your heart with discussions, activities, and more. Each night after meditation, we will gather around a bonfire so you can connect with like-minded individuals and create a community of joy.

By the end of the retreat, you will be able to define what self-trust means to you, get to know yourself again, and leave feeling relaxed, confident, and strong.

Hurry now to reserve your spot, spaces are limited!

Questions and other comments, please email Beatrice.YWB@gmail.com. I do not read Facebook DMs.

Retreat is all inclusive and includes classes, workshops, meals, accommodations, and excursions in one price.

👋 Hello friends! I’m back after an unexpected hiatus from social media. I did check in here and there but removed IG from my phone so I could breathe and chill without the external influence of eeerrrrrrrr’ybody else.

It was meant to just be for a couple days but I think it’s been a month(ish)? It felt good. I thought I’d be consumed with FOMO but the real FOMO is real life.

Here I am in this pic after surviving a cold night alone in my tent in Wyoming 😅 Worth it for the lake views tho!

So here are a few updates:

✨ My project has been extended so stay tuned for an announcement next month(ish). Yes, I’ve been saying this since April 😂 I’m only one woman trying to do a whole team’s job so bear with me 🥰

✨ To get in touch with me, please email me at Beatrice.ywb@gmail.com. No DMs. I don’t check my DMs on IG or FB often.

✨ I’ll be bringing back very occasional emails for the latest offerings and information. SO! If you want to find out about future classes and workshops, get yoga tips, etc, please subscribe to my YouTube AND sign up for emails at link in bio.

✨ Along that line, a website will be coming soon. Please send me motivating energy to get her done! Again, it’s the whole “I’m only one woman” thing 😅

If you made it to the bottom of my caption, take a deep breath, say “I love you” to yourself, and then get off social media and do something ❤️✨

🤸🏽‍♂️ If you usually practice headstands (Sirsasana) or other inversions with your back to the wall, here's a way to get stronger and improve your inversion while still feeling supported.

Doing a headstand with your back to the wall is great when you're first starting out and need to get used to being upside down.

However, once you're comfortable with it, it's time to start building strength, stability, and balance! Turn around and face the wall instead and start building up to a free-standing headstand.

🕊 Take flight! And also take your time. If you’re not ready, you’re not ready! Just practice and always love and accept yourself wherever you are.

🔴 Recommended for people who already learned how to do headstand but want to improve or strengthen their practice. Not for new beginners.

🔴 Also, if you can learn how to do a headstand IN PERSON from a professional, that would be best. Headstands are one of, if not THE most, dangerous yoga pose to do. Learning from someone online for the first time may increase your risk. Be safe and listen to your body!

🌻 Since learning how to make flower essences, I kept thinking about doing one with sunflowers. But the only thing I knew about them was that they signified sadness in Victorian flower language and therefore not recommended for weddings 😔

I mean, well, yes, sadness and I are no strangers but why did my head and heart want more of it?

Today, we made flower essences at my internship and of course, the first flower that popped into my mind was the sunflower.

Whyyyy, brain, why make me so sad, girl? 😩

But when you’re getting a message that often, you have to listen to it so I did it. I asked a sunflower plant if I could harvest one of her blossoms and she gently nodded yes in a windless breeze (true story.) I was torn between one that was lower and looking down and one on the tallest stalk, looking up. I thought, go for the tall one because the one looking down made me feel sad and I needed less sadness in my life, not more.

However, when I went to pick the tall blossom, it fell down to the earth so seems like I needed that downward energy too 🤷🏻‍♀️

The essence has been made and is waiting for use so I felt like it was time to research and find out what it actually supports (besides sadness,) and discovered that my head and heart knew what they were talking about all along.

It addresses lack of confidence, fear of failure, fear of success (a real thing,) indecision in career and path, and all around strength-building and grounding.

I’m not going to lie, the past month has been an interesting journey for me as I assessed and re-assesses my purpose, my abilities, my goals, and my dreams. (Why I’ve been so quiet lately.) What I thought I wanted a few months ago had been heavily influenced by external factors and a deep-seated fear of causing harm.

I kept thinking of sunflower as sadness because it was shining a light on my own sadness.

If something keeps showing up for you, popping into your head, and just annoying you, the moral of the story is, listen. Listen, sit, breathe, listen again, and thank yourself for watching out for yourself.

What are flower essences? See comment ⬇️

Step over the gap 🕳

🤍 We know santosha is about acceptance and finding contentment in ourselves and our lives, but a little known interpretation of santosha is also a willingness to take risks.

😧 It takes risk to accept yourself as you are, to accept and even love life as it is, when there is so much still that you want to change or improve.

🤍 Take the risk to find acceptance. Make the “scary” decision that you have contentment within yourself. Then, take those risks that let you continue on the path of becoming the greatest version of yourself. Every step is a risk: from loving yourself to stepping forward into the unknown. To practice yoga is to seek your truth, which means, you need to go look!

After all, can you truly be content if you never take risks?

✨ Step over the gap and trust in yourself.

➡️➡️ Swipe to see my little camping kitty 🐈‍⬛ and a really cool surprise we saw on the way to the camp site! We went on this trip totally last minute, a risk since it was July 4th weekend, but it worked out perfectly ☺️✨

What does santosha, or contentment, mean to you?
