​I started LCW back in 2022, but 2025 brought the biggest plot twist yet: moving to Iowa and opening my practice in a brand-new community.

Moving here meant more than just a change of scenery—it meant starting this practice fresh and building a brand-new chapter from the ground up.

✂️ It's official — Lymphatic Care and Wellness has cut the ribbon!

Yesterday, Lymphatic Care and Wellness celebrated its ribbon cutting with the Ankeny Chamber of Commerce — and it was everything. Chamber members and dear friends were there to support this new journey.

I believe this community deserves access to specialized, personalized lymphatic care. Whether you're managing lymphedema or lipedema, recovering from surgery, or seeking therapeutic support, this practice was built with you in mind.

As an occupational therapist & licensed massage therapist - I am a LANA Certified lymphedema Therapist, Manual Lymphatic Drainage Certified, Certified Plastic Surgery Therapist, Advanced Lymphedema Management Certified - I built this practice to bring specialized, compassionate care to this community — and Ankeny has already made me feel so welcomed.

If you or someone you love is navigating lymphedema, lipedema, post-surgical recovery, or just needs a dedicated space to heal — I'm here. 💙

I’ll be over at Hawkeye Park with the Ankeny Kiwanis Club for their Easter Egg Hunt! It’s a free community event, and I’m so excited to be helping out behind the scenes.

Woke up with morning thinking it was Monday, and I have an 830 a.m. meeting, when my body just wanted to sleep in more. I wanted to go work out. Or go for a walk, and my brain was trying to figure out how to get things done. Then I realized- it is SUNDAY - and therefore - I am going to sit with my coffee. Watch the sky change. Listen to the birds. Breathe. And enjoy this moment that I was so graciously gifted.

We fill our days with work, meetings, things to do - that sometimes we just forget to be present and thankful for having nothing to do.

As the week ahead begins to unfold for you, take a moment to just breate and settle.

From Florida to a ribbon-cutting in Ankeny! ✂️✨

​They say the only constant is change, and this past year of relocating to Iowa has been a beautiful testament to that. After three years of practice in FL, the big move to Iowa, and months of behind-the-scenes work—rebranding, building a new digital home, and connecting with this wonderful community—I am thrilled to finally share some major milestones with you.

The Big News:
I have officially joined the Ankeny Chamber of Commerce and am honored to announce that we will be celebrating with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on March 30th! This event isn't just about a new business; it’s about a commitment to providing high-quality, specialized lymphatic and therapeutic care to our community. I would love for you to be a part of this celebration as I "cut the ribbon" on this next chapter.
