Take a look at these amazing drawings from the talented kids here at All Is Well! 🎨 Art is one of my favorite ways to help kids express their feelings and tell their stories in a safe, creative space. It’s incredible to see their imaginations come alive and witness the growth that happens through each pencil stroke and crayon mark. Whether they’re working through big emotions, drawing their thoughts, or just having fun, these little artists inspire me every day. If you’re curious about how art therapy can support your child, feel free to reach out to the office by call or text at 256-273-9369.

As a child and adolescent mental health counselor, I’d like to share my personal story that shapes the work I do every day. This all began with my nephew, Jeremiah Rock, who tragically passed away unexpectingly in 2017 at just 10 years old. Before his passing, I witnessed a profound and heartbreaking shift in his mental health. I saw him in an emotional state that no child should ever have to experience—one of pain, confusion, and sadness.

It was during those difficult times with Jeremiah that I made a promise to myself: I never want another child to feel the way he did. The pain of losing him has become my driving force, transforming into a purpose to help others. Every day, I see my work as an opportunity to honor Jeremiah’s memory and to live out the life he was not able to, by being there for other children and teenagers who need support.

Here is how I can help your child:
1. Individual Therapy for Children and Teens: Compassionate, one-on-one sessions tailored to help your child navigate their emotions and challenges. This can be talking things out, emotional gaming, art, music, Marvel movies, anime, etc.
2. Family Therapy: Collaborative sessions with both parent and child, designed to strengthen family bonds, improve communication, and resolve conflicts.
3. School-Based Sessions: Therapy sessions at your child’s school, ensuring they get the help they need without missing a beat in the classroom. This can be coordinated based on location and your child's school schedule.
4. IEP and 504 Plan Support: Collaboration with schools to create and implement accommodations that help your child succeed academically and emotionally.
5. Parent Support and Guidance: Providing you with the tools and resources to support your child’s mental health journey.

I have experience working with children and teens facing a range of challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, family difficulties, behavioral disturbances, and more. Each child’s journey is unique, and I’m here to provide the precise, personalized care they need to thrive.

My practice is deeply rooted in empathy and understanding, shaped by the experiences I had with Jeremiah. I believe in turning pain into purpose, and each day I strive to help children and teens find hope, healing, and a brighter future.

If you’re looking for a counselor who understands the deeper importance of purpose and life, who is committed to making a difference in your child’s life, I’m here for you. Together, we can work towards a future where your child feels supported and valued in all areas. You can call or text at 256-273-9369 or email me at erock@alliswellhealth.org to get started.

Every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported in their journey. As a dedicated and passionate mental health professional, I believe in the power of specific, precise, and compassionate care to unlock your child's potential. Each child is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, and story. My mission is to empower them to find their voice, overcome obstacles, and thrive in every aspect of their life.

Imagine a place where your child’s mental health is nurtured with care that is as unique as they are. Where therapy isn’t just a session, but a space where your child feels safe, understood, and motivated to grow. As the sole practitioner at my practice, I am committed to creating that space for your child, ensuring that their treatment is as individualized as they are.

💼 Here’s How I Can Help:
- I offer individual therapy specifically designed for children and teens, meeting them where they are, emotionally and literally. The cool part is that I can even see your child at their school.

- I collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to develop and implement IEP and 504 plan accomodations, making sure your child’s educational needs are fully supported with their mental health.

- I work closely with teachers, providing them with insights and strategies that help your child succeed in the classroom, while also offering parent support and guidance every step of the way.

Most importantly, I give your child a voice, ensuring they are an active participant in their own treatment and educational journey.

**Accepted Insurances:**
- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama
