What are your plans for this Friday, the 13th? JOIN US! Have you heard of the Curse of the Basano Vase? Yours truly, Althea Grace of Soul Whisperer, and Lyla from Tapestry of the Unseen will be using our cards to explore this ancient to modern-day mystery...a cursed vase, a m*rdered bride, a 1980s pharmacist...lots to unpack with this one!
Legend has it that this 15th-century vase was given to a bride on the eve of her wedding in Naples, Italy, but she was murdered that night holding the artifact. After her death, any family member the vase was passed down to also died. The family stored the vase, but it resurfaced in 1988 with a note warning of its capabilities. Even so, the vase was auctioned off for $2,250 without the note. The pharmacist who bought it died shortly after, as did various others who owned it until, finally, a family demanded that the police get rid of it once and for all. Even museums didn't want to showcase this 15th-century vase.
Dust off your decks, join us for the magical exploration as we throw some cards. Set your notifications, Sweet Peeps! See you Friday, the 13th!
