OFFICIAL: Patterson Health Center is approved again as a Level IV Trauma Center!

This achievement is a direct reflection of the dedication, teamwork, and excellence of our entire trauma team. As we celebrate this milestone, we also want to recognize a special leadership transition:

💙 Thank You, Aly Livengood, RN! After 3 years of incredible dedication managing multiple critical roles in our trauma program, Aly is transitioning to focus solely on Clinical Education. We are so grateful she is staying on to lead staff development for our organization!

🤝 Congratulations, Tonnya Rickabaugh, RN! Following a fantastic mentorship and training period, Tonnya is officially stepping up to assume all trauma-related responsibilities. We are thrilled to welcome her into this vital role!

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, we want to remind our community that mental health matters every month of the year.

Many people don’t realize that depression and anxiety often occur together. These “co-occurring” conditions can share symptoms and may make everyday life feel overwhelming - but support is available, and healing is possible.

Depression may include persistent sadness, fatigue, or loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed. Anxiety may involve constant worry, racing thoughts, restlessness, or irritability.

Mental health struggles are not personal failures, and you do not have to face them alone. Reaching out for support is a sign of strength.

This week, we’re celebrating Christene Planansky from our Medicare Billing team!

Christene plays an important role in helping our patients navigate the billing process with kindness, patience, and compassion. Whether she’s answering questions or helping someone understand their Medicare coverage, she brings a caring heart and positive attitude to every interaction.

Outside of work, Christene is a proud wife, mom of five boys, MeeMaw to two grandsons, dog lover, and talented baker who enjoys making cakes and cookies. She says one of her favorite parts about working at Patterson Health Center is the friendships she’s built and the people she gets to see every day.

A quick snapshot of connection and conversation happening right in the lobby at Patterson Health Center. The Senior Life Solutions team hosted a Mental Health Awareness booth, creating a welcoming space for patients and visitors to stop, chat, and learn more.

Karen Maley, program director, and Jayden Johnson, office & patient coordinator, spent time connecting with the community, sharing resources, and handing out goodies to brighten the day and spark important conversations around mental health.

Register soon for water aerobics at the Harper Wellness Center!

Water Aerobics sign-ups begin now. We highly encourage signing up at the Harper Wellness Center before classes begin on the 8th if possible or register online @ https://form.jotform.com/261465608146056

Pool Access is included in the fee.
If you have a swim noodle, please bring it to class. Water Weights will be available for use during class. The first couple weeks of classes, we will be working around swim lessons for the first 15 minutes of class, so we will warm up in other areas of the pool.

Join us in congratulating Tyra Hostetler, BSW on earning her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University!

Tyra’s compassion, dedication, and heart for helping others make her a wonderful part of the Patterson Health Center team. In her role, she will provide social work services and support to clinic patients and families throughout our community.

We are proud of her accomplishment and excited for the difference she will continue to make at Patterson Health Center!
