See below for Signs, Risks & Solutions
Metabolic Syndrome is a cluster of conditions that increase your risk of heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes. It is a sign that the body is struggling to maintain balance, particularly in blood sugar regulation, inflammation, and fat metabolism.
You might have Metabolic Syndrome if you have three or more of the following:
✅ High Blood Sugar – Fasting blood glucose over 100 mg/dL or signs of insulin resistance like energy crashes, sugar cravings, or difficulty losing weight.
✅ Abdominal Fat – A waist circumference over 35 inches (women) or 40 inches (men), often referred to as visceral fat.
✅ High Blood Pressure – 130/85 mmHg or higher, or if you're taking medication for high blood pressure.
✅ High Triglycerides – Over 150 mg/dL, indicating poor fat metabolism and inflammation.
✅ Low HDL ("Good") Cholesterol – Below 50 mg/dL for women or 40 mg/dL for men, reducing the body’s ability to clear excess fats from the bloodstream.
Symptoms & Warning Signs
Even if you haven't been tested, there are common warning signs, including:
Sugar and carb cravings
Fatigue after meals
***Difficulty losing weight, especially around the midsection***
Brain fog or difficulty focusing
Skin tags or darkened patches of skin (signs of insulin resistance)
High stress levels or poor sleep
Swollen ankles or fluid retention
What Causes It?
Metabolic Syndrome is often the result of poor diet, lack of movement, high stress, and toxicity overload. The modern diet is filled with refined carbs, sugars, and processed foods, which contribute to insulin resistance, inflammation, and fat storage. But even if you're eating well and moving, prolonged/chronic STRESS can do it all on its own.
Poor sleep also plays a huge role—when cortisol (the stress hormone) is elevated for too long, it signals the body to store fat, increase blood pressure, and disrupt blood sugar balance.
The Good News: It’s Reversible!
Metabolic Syndrome is not a life sentence. It can be reversed by supporting metabolism, reducing inflammation, and improving insulin sensitivity.
🌱 Key Strategies for Reversal:
Lower Sugar & Processed Carbs – Focus on whole, nutrient-dense foods, healthy fats, and proteins.
Prioritize Protein & Healthy Fats – These stabilize blood sugar and help burn fat.
Get Moving – Strength training and walking are two of the best ways to improve insulin sensitivity.
Reduce Stress & Support Sleep – High cortisol leads to blood sugar issues. Try deep breathing, meditation, or Calm Five and ME Support for stress relief.
Detox & Reduce Inflammation – Support liver function, digestion, and cellular health through proper nutrition and supplements.
Your body is always working toward balance, and with the right support, you can heal and restore metabolic health.
Other considerations: BioGlycozyme Forte (6/day), Bio GGG-B (3 before bed)
If you have increased blood pressure: Cytozyme AD (2-6/day)
If you have increased triglycerides or LDL: Lipid Sirt (4-6/day), Gluco Balance (3-9/day)
We are very interested in adrenal function, digestive function, reactive hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), parasites and fungal issues as well as diet in this case!!
