I've been enjoying vacation in Oregon and Washington. I've needed to unplug for quite some time and just be. I've slept through the night all week which has been absolutely glorious. I hugged two trees and cried hard both times. So I looked it up because I was curious.

I am whole heartedly convinced that the benefits are true. Did I feel like a moron doing it? Yes, the first tree made me feel awkward. The second tree, not so much. I hugged that tree like it was a human and I swear it hugged me back energetically.

If this is too weird for you, this probably isn't the page for you. I don't apologize for thinking outside of the box or believing in spiritual practices. And for those of you who know me and my path, my Pocahontas soul felt right at home in the woods yesterday.
