Have you talked to your teen about healthy boundaries in dating?
It’s one of the most important conversations you can have.

I had a conversation with a women recently who lost someone to abuse which has really been on my mind and I wanted to share some information.

My first relationship as a teenager turned into six years of abuse and violence. I share this because I never want another teen to go through the same thing. Early guidance can help them recognize warning signs before it’s too late.

Teach them: what respect looks like, what safety feels like, and what to do if someone ignores a boundary.

Signs of Abuse Teens Should Know:
• Criticism or put-downs
• Controlling behavior
• Excessive jealousy or checking their phone
• Blaming, guilt-tripping, or gaslighting
• Explosive anger or threats
• Ignoring “no” or pushing physical boundaries
• Isolation from friends or family

Abuse often doesn’t stop in the teen years. People who experience it young often repeat the same patterns in adulthood — something I learned the hard way. When you don’t know what healthy love looks like, you accept what feels familiar, not safe.

These conversations can change the course of a teen’s entire future.

Many times people might feel like they are “missing out” when they eat differently than their family.. Here’s an example on how to make a meal work for us.

We still are enjoying similar foods but we can alter based on our different needs.
Bun with a yogurt dill dressing, low carb wrap, greek burger or a big Greek salad with the meat on top

Easy and the only thing that took extra time was pulling out the bread and wrap.

Whenever I’m not feeling like myself, I always realize one thing’s missing — consistency with my workouts. I always feel my best when I’m being mindful and taking care of myself. Even if it’s just 20 minutes, take that moment for you.

What’s something that’s fun… but also your job?
For me — it’s this.

Ever come home feeling like you need a vacation from your vacation?
That’s where I come in.

This week I led my first custom private vacation — and it was incredible. The couple and I chose a destination they loved, and I handled everything. ✈️ From transportation and activities to meals and logistics, all they had to do was pack a bag and their passports.

We did it all — cooking classes, hanging bridges, coffee and chocolate tours, sloth watching, hikes, massages, and more.
