Can't believe he's been gone for 5 years. Thinking about him doesn't' make it easier, but not thinking about him is not an option. He will be the measuring stick to which every horse that I am associated with will be judged. He was the best horse I've ever touched, seen, felt, walked, or maintained. His personality was that of a gladiator/rockstar. He was loving or Hannibal Lector, and he always dictated everything like a boss. If he had his own theme music walking to races, it would be "Enter Sandman" or "Kickstart my Heart!" He was irreplaceable in the industry, on the track, in the barn, and in our hearts! No matter how many superstars I've been associated with, and there's many, there will never be another like him! RIP Buddy. Miss you always! SHARED BELIEF

Just as true today! LeBron pays 1 million+ on therapy yearly yet an owner will pay Millions of dollars for horses and scoffs at a therapy bill to keep his horses running properly! Get someone with a proven program! Great therapists aren’t cheap and cheap therapist aren’t good!

Songbird pic of an easy work in 11 and change. That’s what I used to do with her. Pre-work blast the night before so she would work easy and she did. 58’s breezing and 10 or 11 and change was the usual. When they do that as easy as she did in the morning, you had to NO shot against her in the afternoon!

I would work on Shared Beliefs feet and afterwards Armando would put on green epsom salt poultice. I have his BC shoes stored in a Tupperware, wrapped in the same cloth that was given to me from Armando. Every time I miss him, I open it up, smell the dirt and the poultice and it takes me back.
