Check out our company’s adapted car!
We have a variety of equipment to train our clients to meet each clients unique individual needs.
In our car, we use the latest technology, FeatherLite, which uses the vehicles electronic signal to manipulate the throttle, eliminating the mechanical link between the adaptive equipment and vehicles gas pedal. This technology provides a new level of safety!

Who would benefit from driver rehabilitation services? We work with a variety of individuals to get them safely behind the wheel again!

-Individuals with chronic conditions such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson’s disease
-Individuals that had a stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury or other cognitive impairments such as TBI, Alzheimer’s and other dementia
-Individuals that were involved in an accident that changed their physical abilities such as an amputation of upper or lower extremities
-Individuals with vision conditions such as cataracts and macular degeneration
-Individuals with sensory loss such as peripheral neuropathy

Route to Independence, LLC offers driver rehabilitation services to individuals that have a physical, cognitive and/or visual impairment that is affecting their ability to drive.
We provide a comprehensive driving evaluation that includes both a clinical assessment and an on-the-road assessment to determine fitness to drive.
We also provide training in the use of adaptive driving equipment to ensure our clients feel safe and comfortable using this equipment to drive independently.
