March is Endometriosis Awareness Month 💛

Endometriosis is more than “bad cramps.”
It’s a complex condition that can cause persistent pelvic pain, painful periods, digestive issues, fatigue, pain with intimacy, and so much more.

For many people living with endo, the journey to diagnosis and relief can feel long and frustrating. Too often their pain is minimized or misunderstood.

Pelvic health physical therapy can be an important part of support before surgery and throughout the endometriosis journey. Techniques like manual lymph drainage, visceral mobilization, vascular and myofascial release can help improve tissue mobility, reduce tension, and support the body as it prepares for and recovers from treatment.

Most importantly, you deserve care that listens to your story and treats your whole body — not just your symptoms. Trauma-informed pelvic PT focuses on helping you feel safe, supported, and empowered in your healing.

If you’ve been living with pelvic pain and wondering if anyone understands, know that you’re not alone. There are people who take your symptoms seriously and want to help.

When you are at the office on Sunday having some family time and setting up some exciting new things that are happening at Just Breathe and your toddler is entertaining himself 😂 stay tuned for some exciting things coming your way!!

Everything feels like a lot right now.
If today’s win is just breathing, that counts.

When your nervous system is overwhelmed, your pelvic floor often is too.
Tension, pain, urgency — it’s all connected.

You don’t need to push through.
You can pause. You can just breathe.

If your nervous system feels frazzled and your pelvic floor does too, I can help with both. 💛

🚨 Official announcement from our CTO (Chief Toddler Officer):
The office is closed until Monday, December 1st so we can soak up family time, carbs, and a little rest. 🦃✨

He has reviewed all operations from the big comfy chair, typed some very important gibberish emails, and has decided the team deserves a break. ✔️

As you head into the holiday, a gentle pelvic-health reminder:
Your pelvic floor is deeply connected to your nervous system.
And sometimes being around family means our bodies sneak into “brace mode” without us realizing it.
So if you notice tension creeping in—jaw, shoulders, or yep…your pelvic floor—try a slow exhale, soften your belly, and let your system settle. Your body deserves that kindness.

Wishing you a warm, grounded, ease-filled Thanksgiving from the Just Breathe PT crew (and its smallest executive). 🍂🧡

Celebrating my sister-in-law today as she crushed her PhD dissertation defense! 🎉👩‍🔬I had the honor of attending virtually and she rocked it! I’m so proud of her and this HUGE accomplishment.
One of her slides said, “Exercise can modulate gut microbiome” and my pelvic health brain lit up.

Because here’s the thing:
A healthy gut microbiome doesn’t just support digestion… it plays a huge role in pelvic health, too.
✨ Better bowel regularity
✨ Less straining + constipation
✨ Reduced bloating and pelvic pressure
✨ Even calmer pelvic floor tension

Movement supports the gut, and a supported gut makes it easier for the pelvic floor to do its job without gripping for dear life.

So proud of her research, her dedication, and this reminder of how beautifully interconnected our bodies really are. 💛🧠🌱

When we only chase symptoms, we miss the story.
I evaluated someone yesterday who had already seen two pelvic rehab providers—and not one looked beyond the pelvic floor. 😣

Your pelvis doesn’t exist in isolation.
Jaw tension, rib mobility, hip alignment, breath patterns… it all matters.

This is why root-cause care matters. You deserve more than a quick fix or cookie-cutter plan.

✨ Let’s get to the why—so your healing can actually last.
