We had quite a busy weekend and ended it with the Chestnut Hill Home and Garden Festival. The children had so much fun spinning the wheel, creating a greatness garden and hopscotch behind us with a special silly dance. We met so many wonderful people and are proud to be a part of the community.

You asked… and it’s finally here 💛
I’ve had so many people reach out about my sandtray trainings, and I’m so excited to finally have one back on the calendar.
These trainings truly bring me so much joy and there’s nothing like holding space with clinicians who are curious, open, and wanting to deepen their work with children.

This song was inspired by The Loving Stop Sign—a reminder that how we pause matters.

For many children (and adults), especially those who experience Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD), even gentle correction can feel like rejection.

A loud “stop” can create shame.
But a loving pause creates connection.

When we stay close, hold space, and lead with presence…
we help regulate the nervous system—both theirs and ours.

I like to break tantrums down into 3 categories. Understanding your child’s big behaviors is important since all behaviors are a clue to something deeper that may be going on.

I wrote this poem many years ago, and my dear friend John Burr later brought it to life through music. This video was created to reflect my deep love for play therapy and the healing power of play.

Through play, children express what words often cannot—sharing their fears, their stories, and their inner worlds. In a safe and attuned space, healing begins through connection, imagination, and being truly seen.

My hope is that this video can be shared and serve as added resource for parents, caregivers, and professionals, offering a window into the beauty of this work.
