Double Mail Day Magic:
Wow… today the mailman made my whole heart light up. I received the most special miniature to date from the many, many treasures I’ve collected. Alisha Denham created this magical Loving Stop Sign miniature, and the butterfly 🦋 on top made me cry. It’s truly one of my most sacred possessions — I can feel how much love went into it, and I hope you can feel the love right back. And then… another box arrived 📦! My by . I’ve been using them online, but holding them in my hands (or placing them in the sand tray!) is a whole different kind of joy. And the timing feels perfect, as I’ll be one of the guest speakers for Just for Now call this Sunday, sharing about The Loving Stop Sign and the butterflies that guide its message. will be speaking of her beautiful butterfly book, The Turquoise Butterfly.

It may be weird, but I can’t seem to take down my Halloween decorations. I have been enjoying all the lights creating a beautiful space around my sand tray. Maybe it will stay til next Halloween ;)🎃.

So much power in creative writing . I was watching this story and it brought hope to all these wonderful people making a difference in the lives of others.

After spending a decade as a crime reporter, CNN Hero Debra Des Vignes created the Indiana Prison Writers Workshop, a nonprofit writing program that helps incarcerated people work through trauma and find community.
