👶🏼👶🏼👶🏼Calling all babies 6 months and up!

I am offering a 4 week program (1 hr meeting per week) to help parents/caregivers/sitters feel comfortable introducing solids to babies safely.

Maybe you have older kids and didn’t do baby led weaning before… I can help!

Maybe you’re a FTM and the thought of introducing peanut butter is paralyzing you… I can help!

Maybe you want your sitter to know how to prepare food for baby safely when you’re out of the house… I can help!

This 4 week program will be offered in a group setting, babies are encouraged to join us! The first group will start in MAY- PLEASE MESSAGE ME or comment “INTERESTED” so I can send more details and we can start to form a group🙂

An oldie but a goodie! If you have a toddler who doesn’t sit still for books or doesn’t show much interest yet, I highly recommend getting on the floor, facing them, and using an interactive book!

📚You can use any book, however, this one is particularly fun as it has a mouse 🐭 that goes THROUGH each page!

💡Other ideas include flap books, reusable sticker books, books with changing characters/pieces, sensory touch and feel books, etc!

Early literacy and PRE-literacy skills are SO important for language development and later academic success✏️🎓

For her age (2.5) I focused less on functional vocabulary that she’s mastered, and focused more on unique words for her- “tools”, names of tools (syringe, baster brush, tongs, hammer, etc), actions like “crack” or “chip” the ice, “melt”, “shimmy” the toy out, and the concept of Elsa freezing them by “accident” (vs on purpose).

Functional words you could focus on for younger tots: cold/hot, ice/water, character names, stuck, in, out, etc! (And I’d recommend a smaller chunk of ice- it takes work!)

Mommy and Me- New Year Kickoff 👏🎉🥳

Had such a fun time catching up from the holidays, meeting new friends, learning about the Chinese New Year and putting sticker-wishes in red envelopes for “goodluck for the year”, dancing with toddlers, reading about snow and making snowmen, and finding puzzle pieces in a snow sensory bin!

Already looking forward to February 💕

What a ❄️COOL❄️ way to do a speech therapy session… with hippotherapy! 🐴👏this sweet girl introduced me to a whole new way of speech with so many benefits. I am excited to see how this blossoms 🌻

Hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!!

We had a fun turkey crew for story time last week, all 2 and under and absolutely adorable. We had a little dance party, read books about Thanksgiving and eating (hello Hungry Caterpillar!) and made our own little turkeys. 🦃🪶🎨
