THIS Saturday at 11:00, the Genero-CITY Toy Shop is inviting a new "Special Interest Group" to come and connect. It will be a casual opportunity to meet a group of parents navigating the same issues.

Children are not invited to participate in the discussion; however, free, on-site childcare is available if needed. Please register below, so we can anticipate the number attending:

PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS:
We are excited to be creating a more consistent forum for sharing your opinions and input regarding CITY of Support plans. We plan to meet on the 4th Thursday of every month from 7-8pm in a hybrid format (available online via zoom OR in-person at the in Arlington Heights WITH free, on-site childcare available).

Our 1st meeting is scheduled for Thurs, Jan. 29th from 7-8pm.

This morning is our 1st special interest group at the Genero-CITY Toy Shop.

Want to meet other parents & caregivers with similar stories? This morning, Saturday 1/10, come to the GENEROC.I.T.Y. Toy Shop at 11:00 to connect with families who have children with sensory processing difficulties.

This is not a formal support group and won’t be led by anyone…it’s a chance to meet your people.

BUSINESSES: Have you received your 2026 calendar?
CAREGIVERS: Have you seen them hanging around town?

We want to see where 2026 C.I.T.Y. calendars are being displayed...drop photos of them in the comments below and tag the location! 🕵️‍♀️

CITY of Support has distributed over 700 of these annual printed calendars...handing them out at soirees, our Grand Opening, and at local schools, and mailing them to over 275 therapy, pediatric, and specialty offices in the Chicagoland area.

This is one of the best ways to help increase our visibility and spread the word to caregivers about our free resources and supports. Please send us an email if you would like to display one in your office, and we will send them out to you as supplies last: hello@cityofsupport.org

Don’t wait any longer to sign up for Therapeutic Enrichment Classes at the ! We’ll be looking at our schedule next week and canceling those with low enrollments, so it’s time to sign up and tell your friends!
