Update 10/24/23: Old Dog Haven Final Refuge Home FOUND!

Peaches is in a local shelter. Old Dog Haven has been asked to find a home for her. She is not up for adoption, she has major medical issues. Thankfully, the shelter got to work treating her but she needs long-term care which means a forever foster home with us. Grooming is not available at the shelter but you can bet once we find a home to send her to, that will be done for her!

PERMANENT Old Dog Haven FOSTER HOME NEEDED:
(in W. Washington state, Spokane or Portland, OR only)

Peaches is a Poodle. A spayed female who weighs 10 pounds. This little sweetheart is a staff favorite but has been sitting in the shelter for too long. She has a medium heart murmur, really bad teeth, and maybe some vision deficits. She came into the shelter with fleas and badly matted and with a bladder infection; she's been treated but still needs to see the groomer. Her kidneys/liver/etc are OK at this time. She may need isolation for kennel cough but so far is not sick. This very nice girl really needs a home!

Would you like to be the one that gives Peaches the home she is waiting for? We can tell you, it can be work to take a dog on like her but it is one of the most rewarding things you will ever do! We can't wait to see Peaches in home, all cleaned up!
