🏁 INDYCAR Weekend in Arlington: Traffic Update

The setup for the Arlington Grand Prix is officially underway, and the first-ever INDYCAR street circuit is starting to take shape in our backyard. While it’s an exciting event for the city, the road closures around the stadiums are already in full effect.

📍 What to watch for:

Road Closures: Major sections of Division St., Collins St., and Randol Mill are restricted or closed entirely near Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium.

Travel Times: If you’re heading anywhere near the Entertainment District today through Sunday, expect significant delays.

We are communicating to caregivers to take alternate routes like Cooper St. and Hwy 360 to avoid the congestion and stay on schedule for our clients.

It’s going to be a busy weekend for the city. If you’re heading out to catch the race, stay safe and give yourself plenty of extra time to get where you're going! 🏎️💨

This week our Administrator, Lisa Stevens attended the 2nd Annual Caregiver Symposium by the James L West Center and hosted by First Presbyterian Church of Fort Worth. It was a wonderfully put together event and learning opportunity for those with dementia and those careing for persons with dementia. We are thankful to have learned so much about dementia, behavior expressions, and new medications on the horizon. ❤️

Did you know February is American Heart Month? ❤️

For our neighbors like Mrs. Thompson, heart health is about more than just diet—it's about safety and stress reduction. Cold weather can actually put extra strain on the heart, making it even more important to have a helping hand with daily tasks.

Educational Tip: Keep your home temperature at 65°F or higher. Being in a cold house can lead to hypothermia in seniors, which puts unnecessary stress on the heart.

Let A & T Moore Health Care help with the heavy lifting so you can focus on staying healthy. Call 817-277-8606 for a home safety check today!

Not only is it Valentine’s Day, but we’re also celebrating Jane’s incredible 20-year anniversary with us! To top it all off, she’s officially our Caregiver of the Year—and honestly, nobody deserves it more. 🏆❤️

She says the secret to 20 years is "not taking it personal" when a patient is having a rough day. She has that magic touch that makes everything better.

Jane, thank you for twenty years. We love you to pieces!

Have the best Valentine's Day ever—you’ve earned every bit of it! 🍫🌹🥳

Happy Valentine’s Day to our wonderful Arlington neighbors! ❤️

At A & T Moore Health Care, we believe that "love" isn’t just a feeling—it’s an action. It’s making sure Mrs. Thompson has her favorite tea, ensuring her home is warm, and providing a listening ear for her stories. We don't just care for our clients; we truly care about them.

Today is a great day to call a senior neighbor just to say "I'm thinking of you." A little love goes a long way!

Is your loved one "Winter Ready" in Arlington? ❄️🏠

The Texas cold can be unpredictable, and for seniors, even a small drop in temperature can lead to a significant health risk. Our leadership team—with years of experience in nursing, rehab, and senior care—knows that safety starts with the details.

Top Winter Safety Tips:

The 68° Rule: Seniors lose body heat faster than younger adults. Ensure the thermostat is set to at least 68-70°F to prevent indoor hypothermia.

Watch for "Furniture Surfing": If you notice your loved one holding onto walls or tables to walk, arthritis or stiffness may be affecting their balance.

Hydration Matters: Seniors often feel less thirsty in winter, but dehydration can cause lethargy and dizziness.

Why A & T Moore Health Care? We aren't a corporate franchise. We are locally owned, operated, and led by a team that has spent decades at the bedside. We've been your choice for compassionate care since 1998.
