A Family Support Group for Dementia Caregivers

Caring for a loved one with dementia brings unique emotional, practical, and relational challenges. At Stonebridge Senior, we believe caregivers deserve a space where they can learn, connect, and feel supported.

We invite families to join our monthly Family Support Group, created specifically for those caring for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.

Each session offers:

Guidance on communication and meaningful visits

Practical caregiving strategies

Insight into the dementia process

Tools to support caregiver well-being

The group emphasizes empathy, shared experience, and education—helping caregivers feel more confident and less alone.

This group is facilitated by Marci Gerke, LPN, Regional Director of Memory Care Services, who brings extensive experience and a thoughtful, compassionate presence to each session.

Today our community gathered around the table for a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner, and our hearts are as full as our plates. Moments like these remind us why Stonebridge isn’t just a place to live — it’s truly a home.

We are deeply grateful for our incredible team whose compassion and dedication bring comfort and joy to our residents every single day.

We’re thankful for the families who partner with us, support us, and trust us with the people they love most.

A very special thank you to Fremont Elementary for writing a personalized Thanksgiving card for every one of our residents. Your kindness brought smiles, warmth, and so much love to our community today. We appreciate you more than words can say.

And above all, we are thankful for our wonderful residents, the heart of Stonebridge, who trust us to make this community their home. It is our greatest honor and privilege.

🇺🇸 Veterans Day Ceremony – Nov 11
Join us as we honor the brave men and women who have served our country. We’re grateful for the veterans who call Stonebridge home.

🎭 Arvada Center Outing – Nov 14
Art, culture, and inspiration—this afternoon trip is always a resident favorite.

Your voice matters! Share ideas and help make our community even better.

This afternoon, we had the privilege of spending time with some of our incredible seniors who served our country with honor and courage. Listening to their stories, seeing their smiles, and simply being in their presence was truly humbling.
Their bravery and sacrifices remind us that freedom isn’t free—it’s built on the selflessness of those who answered the call. Today and every day, we thank our veterans for the love, strength, and service they’ve given to our nation.
We honor you. We remember you. We are forever grateful.

Special moments today with Fremont Elementary School 4th grade Chior. What a blessing and joy it was to hear such sweet voices and spend time mingling with each other.

What a week it’s been here at Stonebridge! We kicked things off with a delightfully spooky performance by the Soundtrack Chamber Orchestra, followed by a beautiful Día de los Mu***os celebration where we created our very own Ofrenda to honor loved ones we’ve lost this year. To top it all off, our hallways were filled with laughter and excitement as 50 second graders from Fremont Elementary came trick-or-treating! After all that fun, we might just need a quiet Saturday to recharge. What a joy it is to see so many smiles and shared moments in our community!
