Are There Ways to Prevent the Spread of the Flu?
Yes. Preventing the spread of the flu starts by teaching your kids about good hygiene. First, make sure to get your kids the flu vaccine. Second, teach your children how to properly wash their hands using soap and warm water. Encourage them to wash their hands whenever they return home or after they cough, sneeze, or blow their nose. Third, make sure your kids know to cover their mouths and noses whenever they cough or sneeze. Finally, encourage them to keep their eyes out of their hands and mouths at home, school, and when out in public. Small adjustments like these are surefire ways to keep your kids healthy all flu season long.

How Often Does My Child Need a Well-Child Visit?
The frequency at which you schedule well-child visits depends on the age and overall health of your child. During these appointments, your doctor will monitor your baby's weight, vital signs, and overall health. After these initial appointments, you'll want to schedule at least one more well-exam each month until they've reached the age of four months.
