Hey guys, this is an awesome young cat that needs our help. She has a crushed pelvis and needs surgery so she can poop and be comfortable for a good quality of life! Unfortunately the alternative is humane euthanasia if we can’t keep her insides working.

gofundme.com Itty Bitty Kitty is a true survivor and unique soul. Itty found her new mom mere weeks after losing her minpin Dakota. A Valentine baby had already suffered being hit and abandoned; which required the amputation of her rear leg. This beautiful tripod kitty suffered from a incomplete surgery...

Now that the weather is warming up, please remember to keep your pets safe and not leave them in a hot car even if the windows are cracked!

[06/08/18]   Fun Fact Friday!

Do your dog’s paws smell like corn chips? This is most likely because dogs only have sweat glands on their feet, so that smell is their ~natural~ body odor. With that being said, if your dog’s paw seems so be unusually smelly or seems uncomfortable for them, don’t hesitate to give us a call!
Have a great weekend.... Way to go Caps!!!

[06/07/18]   *EDIT* Our phones seem to be working again! If you are having any trouble contacting us, please email us.

Comcast is having a nation wide power outage, so our phone at the clinic is down. We are working on getting this solved, but if you need to contact us, emailing us at goosecreekvet@gmail.com seems to be the best way to reach us at the moment. Thank you for your understanding!

Happy Wilson!

Mr. Wilson was thrilled to have a great check-up, so he happily scheduled his neuter....although I’m not sure he understands what that means! 😉

[06/05/18]   So today's "feel good" story of the day is dedicated to a new patient.
A father brought in a beautiful stray black kitty, to have us check for a micro chip and spay scar... of which she had neither. Kitty was vaccinated and will be returning for a spay and boosters.

At the end of the appointment, we asked what they were going to name kitty now that they were sure they would be keeping her in their family. The father did not know, but said his son would be naming her after the Caps player who scores tonight's first goal!

So... we would like to welcome "Oshie 2.0" to the Goose Creek Veterinary Hospital family! Honorably named after National Capitals player Oshie who sports the team jersey #77!

Congrats to Oshie, for scoring the first goal for the Caps... and congrats to "Oshie 2.0" for finding a fabulous, loving and caring family to call her own!

Today is Hug Your Cat Day! Here we are forcing our love onto office kitty, Sassy. Share a picture of you celebrating today’s holiday!

[06/01/18]   Who gave Dr. Fortier the biggest kiss? 😘
