GLP-1 medications can be powerful tools for metabolic health and weight management.

But the real transformation happens in how you use that time.

I wrote a blog about building habits, protecting muscle, and preparing for long-term success, not just short-term results.

If you’re considering GLP-1 therapy, this is worth reading.

When patients walk into our clinic and ask about GLP-1 medications, they are often focused on one thing: the scale. That makes sense. Medications such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide were originally…

Earlier I shared that I was preparing the space. Here’s the finished room. Lighting adjusted, a softer feel walking in, options for seating.

I’ve learned the visit starts before the exam ever does. When someone feels settled, the conversation is clearer, the assessment is smoother, and the plan makes more sense. Full lighting is always used when it’s time to examine.

Because how it feels matters just as much as what I do.

Let’s meet face to face.

This week, I’m offering complimentary in-person discovery visits (February 9–11).

These 15-minute visits are a brief, no-pressure conversation to explore whether our care approach is the right fit. It’s a chance to meet, see the space, ask questions, and talk through what you’re hoping for in a provider and in care. There’s no rush and no pressure.

This is not a medical appointment.
No exams. No treatment. No medical advice.

Visits are limited and require approval.

⬇️ To request one:
Select Discovery Call using the link below and note “Onsite” during booking.

Earlier this week, I spent time thinking about community and what we may not actually have when it comes to care.

That reflection led to making intentional adjustments at Hushed and Unheard, not a change in who we serve or the care provided. The focus is on creating an even more sensory-friendly clinical environment, with thoughtful attention to pacing, communication, and surroundings, especially for neurodivergent individuals and patients who experience anxiety.

When possible, we will also work to make simple adjustments ahead of scheduled appointments to better support individual needs.

This is an added layer of care for our community, not a replacement of what already exists.

I’ve shared more about this approach in a recent blog. If you’d like to stay connected, you’re welcome to subscribe (free) for clinical updates, care considerations, and practice changes, along with educational content.

Please see the comments for what’s new at Hushed and Unheard.

Clear communication matters.

These signs may be new, but the heart behind this space has always been about listening to and learning from the community we serve.

Tomorrow, 1/30/26, the clinic will be closed as I complete the final phase of community input and preparation. Phone lines will remain open to answer questions for current and prospective patients.

February will mark the rollout of updates and refinements shaped by community needs. Some changes are thoughtfully planned, and others come from a necessary shift. This season reflects both.

In preparation, I’ve developed educational materials to help patients better understand common concerns we see daily, including symptoms, lab results, and general next steps. These resources are designed to support clarity and informed conversations, not replace individualized medical care.

If you have questions or would like a free consultation to determine whether Hushed and Unheard may be a good fit for your needs, please reach out.

Thank you for trusting this space and this community.

A Moment of Discernment:

Today, I chose to pause and listen.

In these early stages of opening this clinic, I’ve been sitting with the real voices and real needs of our community. Some of what I heard was heavy. Some of it was confirming. All of it has been necessary.

As I take time to process and pray, I’ll be making thoughtful adjustments over the next week. This includes revisiting booking options and front-facing pricing so they better reflect the heart and purpose behind this clinic.

I’m allowing God to fully lead this process, even if that means slowing down, reworking things, and being willing to do it differently from the start.

This is still the beginning. Listening, discernment, and care will remain at the center of how this clinic moves forward.
