Strength in Solidarity is an 8-week, trauma-informed strength training class series specifically for q***r and trans folks brought to you by s gold. This class is NOT for allies. If you do not identify as q***r and/or trans, please do not register for this series.

During these 8 weeks together beginning on September 4, we’ll cover the basic principles of strength training and important functional movement patterns that help build strength and capacity for daily life. πŸ’ͺ

Participants will have the opportunity to learn the intentions behind each strength exercise, how to identify and feel specific muscle groups in their bodies working while performing exercises, and establish language for the sensations that may arise in their bodies during training. πŸ‹οΈβ€β™‚οΈ

In class we'll practice self check-ins to aid in developing the foundation for a sustainable, self-reliant, autonomous strength training practice that participants can carry with them beyond the 8 weeks of the class.

Masks are required for this class to promote greater accessibility. No prior strength training experience is required!
