As our communities continue to feel the devastating effects of Hurricane Helene, we’d like to offer our heartfelt thanks to those working tirelessly around us.

Thank you to all the emergency workers, healthcare heroes, first responders, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, law enforcement officers, firefighters, search and rescue teams, public works, and utility crews. We’re also incredibly grateful to those coming from outside our community—pilots, delivery drivers, and supply teams—bringing much-needed aid and relief. Your unwavering dedication and support are truly appreciated during this difficult time.

UPDATE REGARDING TUESDAY 10/1:

* UNC Health Pardee is here for your immediate medical needs. The hospital and emergency department are open 24/7 for emergent medical care.

* Pardee Rx at 1027 Fleming St., Hendersonville will be open to fill emergency prescriptions for community members.

* Pardee Cancer Center will partially resume operations, seeing patients who had previously scheduled infusion or lab appointments. Will also see active cancer patients who need acute care services related to their treatment.

* We have made the difficult decision to close the following offices and cancel appointments for Tuesday, Oct. 1:

- Pardee BlueMD
- Pardee specialty practices
- Outpatient radiology
- Outpatient lab
- Southeastern Sports Medicine & Orthopedics
- Pardee Physical Therapy
- Pardee Urgent Care

Please expect a call to reschedule your appointment in the coming days.

As we navigate this challenging time, we are committed to the safety of our patients and teammates.
