On February 7, I have a Day Retreat of Silence (along with gentle movement, meditation, yoga nidra, and sound healing!)
We spend the afternoon in silence in order to hear better, to take the foot off the gas pedal, to ease the internal pressures. If you've been curious about a silent retreat, this is a great introduction.
It may seem daunting for some to be in silence for a day, but the benefits far outweigh the momentary awkwardness as your body calms, your social pressures dissolve, and your focus turns inward.
The time of silence begins after we open our circle with introductions and intentions, when we move through gentle stretches, a silent meditation, yoga nidra guided embodiment relaxation, and a sound healing session.
