🌤️ Beach nature from this week-Living things making more (mating horseshoe crabs where the male inseminates eggs and the female deposits them in the sand) AND reminders of living things from long ago and their mechanism for eating and moving (shark teeth and a vertebrae). Horseshoe crab eggs are a major food source for migratory birds!

Photo drop from the weekend at Panthertown. Backpacked with Bean and her girl pals. We ate lots of dried fruit, nuts, salty chips and crackers, oatmeal and chocolate. To make it easier (and lighter), had freeze dried meals for dinner.
Pictures are the fairy village the girls found and added to, backpacking in and backpacking out! Grateful for the experience and the crew.
