"MY 2025" Part 10 of 12...
OCTOBER
“F**k All Y’all! We Smokin’ H**p Up Here.”
Something weird happened that literally no one can explain, and all of a sudden you can buy f**kin’ w**d just about anywhere. Correction: Just about everywhere.
W**d? I’ve been known to take a puff or two from time to time, and I was filled with a completely modest & reasonable amount of joy when I awakened one morning to find out that somehow, some way, against all odds, a secret cabal of magical radio-active super-hippies from outer space had teamed up with Earth’s genius lawyers and mad scientists to jump through something called a “loop-hole” and together they were able to cast an invisibility spell over Western North Carolina! Now there’s literally a f**kin’ w**d store on every single corner of our city. Sometimes two. Two w**d stores per corner, plus another w**d store on the roof, and one more w**d store inside a small utility closet in the back room. Aaand then one more teeny-tiny w**d store hidden inside an old violin case leaning in the corner of the utility closet. It’s f**kin’ great. W**d, w**d, everywhere, and until mean old Mitch McConnell and his Big Booze buddies from the Kentucky bourbon lobby are able to break our magic protection circle, we should be free to exercise our inalienable f**kin’ rights as goddamn human beings to pursue our personal fu***ng happiness by smoking one of mother nature’s greatest motherf**kin’ gifts to goddamn humanity, goddamnit! Ahem… sorry. Just a wee little puff or two. From time to time. Shout out to all the h**p smokers out there. You special.
Other notes from October…
• Some of my personal favorite smoke shops are Skyland, Asheville H**p Farms, Blue Ridge H**p Co., Sunfroot, Joint Venture AVL , Asheville Dispensary - South Slope, and Franny’s Farmacy
• I went to the brand new Piccolina pizza and sandwich restaurant in the RAD. I got a pizza. It was great. Atmosphere was cute as f**k. Owners were nice, I’ll be back.
• On October 21st, Paddy and I observed a cloud that looked just like a giant onion ring.
• Other than that, I pretty much ate at all of my old favorites: Twisted Laurel Downtown Asheville, Andale WAY Mexican Grill, and Table, plus I got another great pizza from Beer City Pizza, and drank excellent coffee all over town.
